Visit to Virginia

Wow, has it been a while since I've updated or what!
Jarrod, Jordan, and myself were able to hitch a ride with my aunts and cousin, Chandra, to Virginia two weeks ago to see my family. We had a wonderful week. Jada, my sister, was home from college and so we were able to visit with her, as well as my parents, Grandparents, aunts and uncles, and several friends. Jase, unfortunately, couldn't get the time off of work, so we REALLY missed him!

What a full day!

If you have never been to the "Creation Museum" in northern Kentucky, let me recommend that you go when you have the chance. For more information, go to http://www.answersingenesis.org/.

We left early this morning with my family (Jase's) and enjoyed the whole day at the museum.

We watched an incredible planetarium program that left us feeling so small and knowing that our God is so big. We saw several other video productions that were all top notch.

The message of the museum was distinctly biblical and contained a clear gospel message. We pray that God will continue to bless and use the ministry of "Answers in Genesis"!

We also had the chance to get some good pictures outside.

Jase took Jarrod, Tristan, Jacob, and Jesse fishing at a local park on Friday. I don't think they had much luck with the fish, but I know that they had a good time. It has been really nice to spend time with family since we've been in OH. We have definitely been taking advantage of the closeness.
I caught Jarrod "checking" on Jordan yesterday as we were about to leave, and this is what I found . . .

Well, I'm back. As you can understand, I have been a little preoccupied the last couple of weeks, AND I might add, loving it! For my family's sake, I had to take time from "Playing" and update the pictures on the blog. Jordan, as you can imagine, is growing and changing daily, and Jarrod is being a wonderful "Big Brother". Several people have asked if it has been hard going from one child to two-not so far. I think since Jarrod is older, he is able to be lots of help. I am so thankful for that, too!

I am doing really well, also. My mom was able to come and help us the week after Jordan and I came home from the hospital. I don't know what I would have done without her! Things have gone pretty well for the most part even after she left. I almost panicked at the thought of her leaving me to everything at first, but it has worked out. Jase has been great! He has been extremely understanding and helpful.

We've been having BEAUTIFUL weather(finally!), so hopefully I'll have some outdoor pictures up soon. Until next time . . .

Jordan's Trip Home and First Visitors

Yes, I know it has been a while since we posted. Jeanene and Jordan came home last Monday, March 31. We had visitors that night and I went back to work working long days. So, today I am off and trying to catch up on things, like the blog.

Here are just a few pics of Jordan and some of her first visitors at home. Thanks for stopping by!
