Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe it is 2008! May God's blessings be upon you in this new year!

Today is Wednesday, January 2. Tomorrow afternoon, Jeanene has her first doctor's appointment in Ohio. After her appointment, we are leaving to go to Jamin and Joy's house to see their newborn baby, Jackson Boyer.

Friday we are driving down to Virginia to spend 3 weeks with Jeanene's parents. We are definitely looking forward to that!

We've been really sporadic on our posts, but thanks for stopping in!

To Catch You Up

We have been in Ohio for almost two weeks now. We have had nearly 9 inches of snow since our arrival. The snow is so beautiful and it reminds me (Jase) of growing up here and white Christmases.

I wanted to post a couple pictures to catch you up on some of the things you've not heard about.

Before we moved up we were able to take Jarrod to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg. It was such a huge place. The Lodge is a beautiful hotel with a complete indoor water park: slides, wave pool, water fort, surfing station, lazy river and more. We had so much fun with Jarrod. When it was time to leave, he cried for almost 20 minutes.

We're Here

I wanted to post quickly, and give an update. We moved to snowy OHIO last Friday, and have had quite a time at trying to get settled. I'm still not done. Christmas is coming quickly, & I hope I am ready by then. We are going to get the Christmas tree this evening hopefully. I did some of my shopping before the move, so I'm not as behind as I could be.
We have moved into the same town as Jase's family, and have already enjoyed being with them. They have been HUGE help!
I'm afraid I'll be pretty sporadic the next few weeks and months with my blog. We are going to be doing some traveling to see family and friends before settling down. Just wanted to warn you in advance. I will be back!

Quick Update

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! We were able to spent the weekend with my family in Southwest Virginia and had a great time.
This past Tuesday, I had a doctor's visit and found out . . . We are having a GIRL! Yeah!!! Jarrod is so excited. He has been talking to my belly a lot more. "Little sister, we love you," he says. Very sweet!
As far as the house goes, we are suppose to close Friday. If you have ever been involved with selling a house, you know it's not that simple. Please pray that the Lord will continue to work these things out and that we will trust Him. Our move date, as of right now, is December4th and 5th. I've got to go pack! Until next time . . .

Build-A-Puppy

Yesterday, Jarrod and I went to Short Pump to a Build-A-Bear Workshop. I've been wanting to take him for some time, but it hasn't worked out until now. Here are several pictures of the
process. . .

What fun picking what you are going to make! This didn't take long. Anyone who knows Jarrod want to take a guess? DOG, of course!

This is the station where we put in the "stuff n fluff." They also get their heart.

Now for the air bath and brush!

So many clothes to choose from (must be nice:)!

Jarrod got to pick the dog's name for the Birth Certificate--NEO! Thanks, Smith's for sharing the name. Can you believe that "Ginger" didn't even come up?(For those who are wondering, Jarrod already has 4 stuffed "Gingers". Get the picture.)

Ready to go!
