Washington D.C.

We have had such a good weekend! Jase's family flew in from OH for a visit early Friday morning. It has been a lot of fun.

Monday morning we all went to Washington D.C. for the day. With good traffic (which usually doesn't happen), we can be there in about an hour and a half.Once we reach the city, we ride the metro(subway) downtown. Everyone enjoys the ride without the traffic!

Changing of the Guard ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns

Visiting the Capital

Washington Monument & World War II Memorial

Taking a Break

On to the Lincoln Memorial

Had enough history for one day!

We enjoyed making these sweet memories with our family!

Looks like you had a wonderful day! Last time I was in D.C., I was about 7 months pregnant with Briley!! We would love to take the kids.

So much fun! I can see the progression of tiredness in everyone. :) It just makes you swell with pride to see some of the things there. I'm glad you all got to go.
