Putt-Putt on Vacation

Well, we've been home for a few days, and we've tried to get back into the "real world."

I wanted to show a few more pictures and a video clip of one of our afternoons on vacation. We found a very nice putt-putt golf location and enjoyed it very much. We all had a little luck, but I'd say that Jarrod had more than his fare share, as you will see below. It was decorated in a pirate theme and was probably the nicest putt-putt we've ever been too.

Well, enough said. I'll let you see the pics and the clip.
Jase

P.S. Jarrod says...

Jarrod and his "beginner's luck".

The decorations were incredible!

"Jarrod, the Pirate"

Jarrod and me!

I promise I'm not as heavy as this picture makes me look. If I were a weaker man, with less strength of character, less confidence, less fortitude, less courage, and less security in his humanity, I definately would not have published this picture! No comments on this picture!

Racin' on the Beach

What fun! Our son brought his dump truck to race in the biggest sandbox ever! That's all we needed for a full day of fun.

We made a racetrack on the beach and set Jarrod running around it. If you can tell, he pauses for a pit stop during one of his laps. Then he takes a spill coming around the last corner.

On the way back home, Jarrod wanted to take some pictures. So, here is his first collection...

On the Beach Again

Wednesday afternoon, we spent a couple hours on the beach. We got to fly a kite that Jarrod's Mamaw and Papaw D. got for him. With the constant breeze blowing, it was no trouble at all getting the kite up. Once we got it up, we just tied it to our bag, and it flew 'till we were ready to go.

More Pictures from vacation

Jarrod on Hilton Head Island, 2007

Today is Wednesday, and we spent the morning on the beach. Jarrod is learning to stand up in the waves and he's trying hard not to get salt water in his mouth. We buried his feet in the sand and built a sand castle.

He can't wait to get back to the beach tonight. We are planning taking his kite. Hopefully we'll have some good pictures to show you.

The weather has been beautiful. It is hot, but there always seems to be a nice breeze blowing.

It's good to just be able to relax and enjoy the time together as a family!

Talk to you all soon! Jase

Our Vacation to Hilton Head

We've been on vacation for just about a day now, and we've had so much fun!

Jarrod loved running around on the sand. He has put several thousand miles on his truck!

Let me know what you think.

Just Workin' & Waitin'

I really don't have very much to report right now. We live such boring lives ...JUST KIDDING!! Things have been quite busy. Jase has worked like a mad man on the house the last couple of weeks. As you have seen in previous posts, Jarrod is having a blast "helping" his Daddy. No doubt about it, he loves tools, trucks, and dirt!

I, myself, have been laying low for the most part. We have been and are about to experience some very difficult changes and decisions in the near future. Please keep our family in your prays, especially Jase, as he will be feeling the brunt of these decisions. Thanks!

Fun with the simple things

We took the time and spent the money to put in a new side walk, and what does Jarrod do? Play in the dirt next to the side walk. He got very dirty. Take a look.

I'm so thankful . . .

I (Jeanene) haven't personally posted in a couple of weeks, but today I wanted to brag on Jase a bit. There is so much going on right now, yet he continues to steadily go on, doing what he needs to do to take care of our family, working hard to provide. Most of you who know Jase also know he is the tease and funny guy in the group. But what you might not know is that he is also a thinker and a very serious person. He does not act on a whim. I am so grateful that he thinks through a decision and analyzes a situation thoroughly. I just wanted to say thank you to him for all he does for us! God has truly blessed me! I LOVE YOU, JASE!
