Quick Update

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! We were able to spent the weekend with my family in Southwest Virginia and had a great time.
This past Tuesday, I had a doctor's visit and found out . . . We are having a GIRL! Yeah!!! Jarrod is so excited. He has been talking to my belly a lot more. "Little sister, we love you," he says. Very sweet!
As far as the house goes, we are suppose to close Friday. If you have ever been involved with selling a house, you know it's not that simple. Please pray that the Lord will continue to work these things out and that we will trust Him. Our move date, as of right now, is December4th and 5th. I've got to go pack! Until next time . . .

Build-A-Puppy

Yesterday, Jarrod and I went to Short Pump to a Build-A-Bear Workshop. I've been wanting to take him for some time, but it hasn't worked out until now. Here are several pictures of the
process. . .

What fun picking what you are going to make! This didn't take long. Anyone who knows Jarrod want to take a guess? DOG, of course!

This is the station where we put in the "stuff n fluff." They also get their heart.

Now for the air bath and brush!

So many clothes to choose from (must be nice:)!

Jarrod got to pick the dog's name for the Birth Certificate--NEO! Thanks, Smith's for sharing the name. Can you believe that "Ginger" didn't even come up?(For those who are wondering, Jarrod already has 4 stuffed "Gingers". Get the picture.)

Ready to go!

A Walk in the Park

I wanted to post a few pictures of Jarrod from this week. We went to Maymont Park in Richmond on Wednesday, and really enjoyed the beautiful leaves. Believe it or not, they are still hanging on for dear life around here . . . and what a show they put on!

By the way, Jase, with the help a good friend, was able to get the car up and running on Tuesday. Thank you, Lord! We were already imagining the worst. All it took was a fuel injector that he amazingly got for six bucks! God is good! Philippians 4:19

Not much to say...

Well, I'm not really sure what to say. We have had very little going on the last week. Jase and I went out on a "date" Friday evening, something that rarely happens (thank you, Angie!). Things get so in a rut sometimes that the things that really matter get pushed to the side. We had a lovely evening--went out for really good Chinese(P.K. Chang's) and then just walked around. Most of you know Jase pretty well and know that he is usually the funny guy in a group. It was nice to not have to share him this time!:)
Saturday we did have some trouble. The car broke down with Jarrod and I while at a birthday party. Thank you, Thompson's and Keith! It really is nice to have friends. It's still not fixed yet, but Jase is working on it.
As far as the house goes, we are still on target. Anything can happen though. We are suppose to close on December 1st. With Thanksgiving next week (can you believe it!), I really need to start packing some. We are hoping to be moved within 3 or 4 days after closing.
For someone with nothing to say, I did pretty good don't you think! Hope you all have a good day!

The Pumpkin Patch

I've been meaning to post these pictures of our day at Chesterfield Berry Farm for a while. It's actually been a few weeks since we've been. We had such a fun day as you can see.

You really can't see them very well, but he is proudly wearing his "barn boots".

Pickin' the perfect pumpkin-Decisions, decisions!

Jarrod loved the barrel train!

We don't celebrate Halloween, but we do paint pumpkins, make pumpkin cookies and caramel apples, and get lost in a corn maze! We have had a really nice fall!
